The stay was great, especially since it was just a short two-night getaway to explore the nearby attractions like the Cape Medical Museum and the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, both a quick walk away. The private room was cozy, clean, and very secure, which was perfect for winding down after a long day of sightseeing. I was also impressed with the level of support from the hosts, who accommodated me last minute due to a flight cancellation and even helped with tour bookings. The overall vibe of the place made it feel like home during my visit!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me feel right at home.
I stayed for 4 nights, but the dorm was quite chaotic. The cleanliness suffered too, with belongings scattered around and a lingering smell in the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable during my stay.

The bunk bed in the female dorm provides privacy with its curtains, making it more comfortable for solo travelers. You can't beat the great access to the V&A Waterfront and its attractions, all within a safe walking distance.
On top of that, the cleanliness of the bathrooms isn't ideal, with issues like mold and a bathroom door that didn’t lock properly. Plus, the cookware in the shared kitchen has seen better days, raising a few health concerns when using them.

Had a great time with my friends! The location was perfect. we walked to the Waterfront and enjoyed activities like kayaking and hiking nearby. The staff were super friendly and made us feel at home, and the shared kitchen was great for making meals together. Definitely recommend it for a fun group getaway!
Though overall good, my bed was a bit uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep during our stay.

The front garden offers a cozy ambiance, perfect for relaxing. The homemade bread served during breakfast adds a delightful personal touch. the rooms could benefit from more frequent cleaning and sheet changes, which affected the overall comfort. While the proximity to social amenities is convenient, the sound insulation between rooms leaves much to be desired, occasionally disrupting sleep.
